Q. Why should I buy from The Whimsical Bead?
A. We are a small business located in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Supporting us will mean you are supporting an Australian owned, family business.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and attention to detail which means you receive a pleasant, hassle-free shopping experience.
We only stock quality products – products that we would use ourselves, so you can buy with confidence. If  for some reason you are unhappy with your product, we are more than happy to refund in most cases (see returns).  If there is a particular product you would like us to stock, please let us know and we will do our best to source it and make it available to you. We are always happy to receive feedback – positive or negative and will take on board what you have to say, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
 
Q. Do you sell bulk/wholesale?
A. Many of our items are already available to you at a low cost, however if you wish to purchase a particular item in bulk quantities please contact us as we are always happy to discuss this with you.
 
Q. Do you ship overseas?
We currently have the store set up to accept orders from Canada, US, Uk and New Zealand but we are happy to ship to other countries if you contact us before hand. All orders are shippd via AirMail unless otherwise specified and are calculated on weight. If you have any queries, please contact me. 
 
Q. What is your policy on Guarantees/Returns? 
 A. We inspect all our products to ensure they are of good quality and we only buy from reputable suppliers. We do not sell you products that we would not use ourselves.  Please note, however, the following points: 
- all sizing is approximate and photos are not to scale; 
- please allow for irregularities on some products. For example, Bali and Thai Silver pieces are handmade and therefore each piece may differ slightly to another
If you require specific information about a product, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you.
If  you are unhappy with the quality of your product, please contact us within 7 days of your receiving the parcel. 
Please note: no exchange on ear hooks due to health regulations.

Q.  Ordering/Payments
A. To make a purchase simply click on the "Buy" buttons found under each product. When finished making your selections click on "Checkout" on the top right of your page and follow the instructions for checking out, entering any coupons/gift voucher codes, and choosing your preferred shipping choice at this time. You can also view more detail on the item by clicking on the product name or its graphic.

 We do not accept personal cheques except as a last resort as our bank charges us to deposit them, so we will have to add a $2.00 processing fee to cover any bank fees.  
   
 Q.  Discount coupons / codes
A.  At times, for one reason or another,  you may receive a discount coupon / code.  To redeem these discounts, all you have to do is enter your code when prompted during checkout.  Your discount will then automatically be calculated and taken off your order.  Please note, you may only use one discount code per order so if you are lucky enough to have more than one, it is up to you to decide which code will be most beneficial for you to use.

Q. How is my order shipped and how much will it cost me?
A. Your parcel will be shipped via Australia Post and the cost is calculated on weight. You can also choose during checkout if you would like your parcel to be registered (recommended). For any more information regarding postage costs, please contact us. We will be happy to assist you. Please note: we cannot and will not be responsible for any lost parcels.
